GlobeInvest’s founder has spent more than 45 years in the investment business as a research analyst, market strategist, and portfolio manager in Toronto, London, and New York. He participates in establishing the firm’s overall investment strategy, portfolio asset allocation, and securities’ selection.

Peter is a member of the CFA Institute (formerly the Association for Investment Management and Research) and the Toronto CFA Society. He regularly appears as a scheduled guest on Business News Network (BNN) programs and as an occasional guest on CTV Newsworld.

In the community, he is a past member of Trent University’s Board of Governors and currently remains as a member of its Investment and Audit Committee. Over the years, he has also served on various boards and committees of many arts, educational, and public policy organizations.

Christine Poole, MBA, CFA – Managing Director

With over 17 years in the investment industry, Christine is an experienced portfolio manager and analyst, with expertise in both global and domestic equities.  She has held senior portfolio management positions with insurance and major bank-owned investment managers, most recently as director of U.S. equities. Christine is a key member of the GlobeInvest team which sets overall investment strategy, asset allocation and securities selection.

Christine earned her undergraduate degree from McGill University, her MBA from University of Toronto and is a member of the CFA Institute and Toronto CFA Society. 

Married with 4 children, Christine is actively involved in her community through her children’s numerous interests in dance and sports.  In her spare time, Christine stays physically fit through running and regular visits to the gym.    

Originally from Northern Ontario, Wendy graduated from Cambrian College with a business diploma in 1986. After moving to Toronto, she worked for 8 years with portfolio clients of a private investment management company and a major Investment Dealer.

Wendy joined GlobeInvest in 1996 and serves both as a member of the Portfolio Management Team and as Manager of Client Relations. She is also licensed as a Certified Financial Planner.

Wendy is married with two children who keep her involved with minor hockey and children’s theatre.

Roger brings more than 35 years of investment and trust industry experience to the GlobeInvest team responsible for overall investment strategy, asset allocation and securities’ selection.

He began his career as a Chartered Accountant in London, England and after eight years moved into the investment industry where he held multiple senior positions with mid-sized investment companies. After moving to Canada, he spent 12 years as Senior Vice President, Finance, in charge of capital market investments for a major trust company, and 14 years as a Portfolio Manager.

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales and a member of the Chartered Accountants of Ontario. In the community, he has served as the Treasurer and a member of the Board of Directors of the Distress Centres of Toronto.
